Since ancient times Riga has been a city with a rich cultural life, and it is not surprising that this year it has earned the honor of being the cultural capital of Europe.
More than 12 000 participants from almost a hundred different cultural institutions, state and city cultural institutions and non-governmental cultural organizations involved in training programs of the cultural capital of Europe.
